What Are Eyelash Extensions?

Ilashas provides different styles of eyelash extensions created from a synthetic mink fiber that is attached to the natural lash using a medical grade, latex and formaldehyde free adhesive. As an ilashas client you will get to choose from a variety of lengths, thickness and curls to customize your perfect lash look. With proper placement, eyelash extensions can make the eyes appear wider and more lifted. With proper care, eyelash extensions should last up to two-three weeks before extensions need to be filled for this will protect and secure your natural lashes health.

Fun Fact: Your extensions will shed(obviously) with your natural hair growth cycle which is usually every six to eight weeks. Refills are an excellent way to extend the life of your eyelashes and suggested every two to three weeks.

The initial few appointments can take wherever from one to two hours depending on the style and volume desired.

One of the wonderful benefits of having eyelash extensions is that you no longer need mascara. ilashas doesn’t recommend mascara with lash extensions as it’s hard to remove and will cause the bond to break(That hurts). If you must wear mascara, try to just wear it on your lower lashes and please avoid waterproof mascaras.
